Additionally, the task of   strengthening skills in reading, writing and basic math was continued with workshops given to educators, which has allowed to keep student’s attendance at a high preventing dissertation  and reaching  high academic standards,   this  fact is  verifiable  through  statistics  kept at the delegations of the Department of Education in  the attended zones.

With the sponsorship of the mentor program it was possible for 3 youngster of academic excellence to complete their high school.

In the prop of survival with the program,  Our Daily Bread ,  it was  possible  to  feed 40 families every Saturday  in coordination with the Missionary  of  Charity,  likewise, in coordination with the Franciscans Missionaries  in  old Highway to León,  more than 50 families were reached daily , achieving a healthier  nutrition  and food relief.  Also, during Christmas more than 1000 families and their children were given a Christmas food package as well as the distribution of more than 5,000 toys.

In June we worked  hand in hand with the housing project, A Roof For my Country,  14 houses in the region of  Sta. Julia in El Crucero where constructed,  giving  a decent roof  to  14 families, mostly women heads of household.
