With a desire to improve its surrounding communities and assume its corporate social responsibility, the Almori Investment Group or Grupo de Inversiones Almori, decided to create a small but dynamic foundation—a space to respond to the needs of the community.

The Almori Foundation functions with funding from business that operate under the Almori Group, in addition to other bilateral donors represented in Nicaragua, private companies and individuals, and the North American Institute for Children Advancement based in the United States.

We value Public Private Partnerships as a powerful mechanism for development—by this we mean partnerships created between the public and private sectors with the goal of contributing positively to the economic and social development of society.

Fundación Almori was officially registered in March of 2009 with the Nicaraguan government under the permanent number 4347, decree number 5650.
